Collection: Car Batteries

car battery, or automotive battery, is a rechargeable electrochemical storage device that provides the necessary electrical power to start a vehicle's engine, and to run its lights, accessories, and computer systems when the engine is not running. Traditionally, these are 12-volt lead-acid batteries that generate electricity through a chemical reaction between lead plates and sulfuric acid. Once the engine starts, the vehicle's alternator recharges the battery.
